PIP Assessor Vs Decision Maker
Hi from people's knowledge / experience on this site how often does the decision maker tend to agree with the review assessment report? Currently waiting for decision, assessment report makes me hopeful but still anxious. My current award ends in April 2026.

In my experience of supporting individuals with PIP reviews it is very unusual for the decision maker not to follow the assessment report.

thank you for replying, that is reassuring although I will try not to get too excited yet (the pessimist in me).

Hope you don't have to wait too much longer for the outcome @HighlandCoo!

Thank you @Mary_Scope I hope so too. there has been an interesting development though!!!! I regularly go on Gov.Uk for proof of benefits just in case there is something new there, today the letter shows same current award but end date as 23 April 2027 not 26 April 2026?????? does this mean they are extending whilst wait for decision which makes me think it could be a while then?
will wait to see if a paper copy arrives in case its just a online glitch.
