Hello, we currently receive our UC with transitional protection of £361, will we lose this come April when we will get a payment for our 3rd child due to the cap lifting, confused any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

    Yes I believe that your Transitional Protection will reduce by the additional entitlement for your third child.

    The child element rate is around £300 so you should have some Transitional Protection left.

    It will also reduce by the annual uprating for the other elements.
