Reform say they will cut spending for councils and benefits to save the tripple lock in place, but they have no answer to keep the the tripple lock. Which means in the end, benefits, councils and pensioners would lose out. He doesn't have the answer.

The greens say they would keep a double lock, but don't mention benefits, and Labour and Lib Dems would keep the tripple lock…But don't mention benefits.

To be honest, I think anybody on benefits and pension would lose out in the end from any party.

I have had enough of worrying. When they actually do it I will think about it.

Meh, they won't go after benefit claimants, Labour currently are doing and it's proving to be Political suicide.

I've had enough of the worrying too, bookrabbit, sometimes I find it hard not too though.

Politics is not 'my thing', although it should be! If you go a Party that promises one thing but at the cost of another who looses out? Almost always those that are receiving Benefits or trying to claim benefits ,except the 'rules' seem to change and you cannot choose between any of the Parties.

There is far too much information to 'sift' through to make a sensible, rational decision, so I will probably 'sit on the fence, dithering but at the same time feeling 'guilty' for not being able to choose and then feel more 'guilty' for not voting!

Meh, I'm voting Green next time, they said last time that they'd look after the disabled.

I was clearing out my "inbox" messages and saw this.

I inadvertently saw Reform's welfare plans about an hour ago (a week old article).

The next general election is going to be one of the biggest general elections Britain has had for a long time, it's obvious the Tories/Reform will work together, the onus is on Labour, Greens, Lib Dems, Plaid, SNP if they are all willing to work formally or informally to keep the Reform/Tories out.

Labour will surely have a new leader by 2029.
