Do you still watch kids' shows/movies?
I do, in fact I've got an old Barbie movie on YouTube in another tab, and I've watched Barbie of Swan Lake and Barbie as Thumbelina so far this week, great movies.
How about you lot?

I don't think of them as for kids but I suppose they are ππ.
I love Alvin and the Chipmunks (Alvin, Simon and Theodore) and the Chipettes, Brittany, Eleanor and Jeanette. I even have excerpts on my mobile of favourite moments including them singing 'Only You'..... SO CUTE π.
Favourite films I watch a lot are ET, Babe plus Babe: Pig in the City; Sound of Music; Mary Poppins.... I could go on......and on..... ha ha.

I actually still watch them too, especially films like Hotel Transylvania and Shrek. Theyβre just really fun and comforting to watch.

Does going to watch Folk of The Faraway Tree next week count ? Not taking any kids, β¦ but loved the books as a kid and even read them all again a couple of years ago

I hope you aren't disappointed. I very much regretted watching Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings efforts. As for The Hobbit, I won't even comment!

This is my big worry. The only film I've enjoyed after reading the book is The Green Mile β¦ should say, sobbed as much π
everything else has been a huge let down β¦

ET is a classic, 44 years later I still can't watch that bit where he "dies" on the Operating table without crying.
Mary Poppins was also a classic, until certain people ruined the "magic" crying about the Chimney top sceneβ¦.
I love all the old Disney films, I didn't even mind the live action version of Snow White that came out just over a year ago, Beauty and the Beast was one of the best, but I just love seeing attractive ladies in Ball Gowns! Only thing with that was, as much as I adore Emma Watson, I didn't think she was quite pretty enough 9 years ago to be Belle, she looked great in the dress though.

On the rare occasion I will still watch Rainbow, No. 73, Get Fresh, Motormouth, Trap Door, there's probably others that I can't remember right now.

Have you seen the "Not for TV" "Twangers" episode Rainbow? It's on YouTube but I'm loath to link to it because it's a bit er, adult shall we say?

I've heard a lot about it, and I either saw some of it or all of it.

Used to love the Barbie films @SheffieldMan1976!! The Princess and the Pauper film was my favourite.
The Sound of Music is up there as one of my favourite films @Santosha12, an excellent filmπ
Another one of my all time favourite films are live action Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo Monsters Unleashed. The casting is so spot on!0 -
I'm glad it's not just me. I watched Barbie the movie last night and cried a lot throughout π
