Undiagnosed hip and leg pain

I just thought I’d reach out on the off chance someone else has experienced same symptoms as I have been. For the last 4 years I’ve been struggling with hip and leg pain and have not been able to get any answers. Things started quite suddenly, my legs started to ache then I had swelling on both ankles and I was struggling to walk from the pain and stiffness. Got referred to a rheumatologist who was quite confident in saying I don’t have arthritis. Four years on I am still struggling. The pain seems to be worse with walking or standing for long periods of time. Sometimes it feels like it’s coming from my hip joints and other times it’s the hip flexors or the pain is radiating down to my knees. On anti inflammatories daily now which seem to help. Also have lost a bit of weight. My legs look like the muscle has wasted away. My hip joints are sticking out. Just had CT scan which came back with nothing. I’m not sure where to go from here. Anyone had similar pain?
