I applied for rehousing so I can move in with my mum who had been diagnosed with dementia she has refused carers but needs 24 hr care, I have a letter from her specialist that says she needs 24hr care but wondered how long this might take as she is at risk of harm.

Hi @gildenel, if you're hoping to be rehoused by the council, this is probably something you need to speak to them about. If you give the housing team a call, they should hopefully give you an idea of how long things might take. But it's definitely worth letting them know if you feel your mum is a safeguarding risk without you as this might help things move along quicker.
Hope you can get things sorted quickly.
