If you could appear on ANY TV show (even Crimewatch) would you do it?
Above.
Over the years I've auditioned in person for Britain's Got Talent, Fifteen to One (back when Sandi Toksvig did it) and one of the old National Lottery Quiz shows.
When I did BGT they wanted me to pop across to Manchester for the second audition in front of the Judges but Dad wouldn't let me go.
Anyway, could you appear on TV on a Quiz show or something?

What did you want to do on BGT @SheffieldMan1976? I don't think I have any talents that would get me on BGT, definetly not singing or dancing anyway!!
I think I would like to go on The Chase or Race Across The Worldπ1 -
I sang Bat out of hell by the late Meat Loaf.
It's one of the songs I know off by heart without printing out the lyrics.
I've also applied for The Chase back in 2014, they rang me to attend an audition but it was a Foreign person who I spoke to and I didn't understand them, so I kind of talked myself out of doing it.

Not thesedays, I can't bear to look at myself in the mirror.
I was seen on the Festival of Remembrance back in 1985 but I didn't have to speak :)
My friend is addicted though, he won 'The Weakest Link' but lost 'Bargain Hunt' however he manages to get in shot when Antiques Roadtrip films the auction nearby. He went but but failed to get on 'Antiques Roadshow'.0 -
No, absolutely not. For me personally I can't think of anything worse. I don't think I would ever want to be on television.
I always admire the confidence of people who feel able to.

I wouldn't either. Even the thought of it makes me anxious. I'd find it impossible. But similar to @Emilee, I have a lot of admiration for people who are brave enough (and a little bit of envy).

Fair enough, fame's not for everybody.
I just wanna be in the audience on Gladiators and possibly get on TV for instance.

I love gameshows and would love to go on Catchphrase, The Floor, or The Weakest Link. To be honest though I'd go on any that would have me π I always wonder how I'd feel once I'm on there. It's easy shouting out the answers at home, but what if stage fright got to me and I couldn't answer anything!?

Yeah I'm quite good at Catchphrase, used to watch it back in the 80s when the late Roy Walker did it.
I actually applied a couple of years ago (even though Stephen Mulhern's voice annoys me), they never did get back to me.

I've got the Catchphrase board game which is pretty good. I'd love to host a gameshow night with my friends. I've got play your cards right, family fortunes and the price is right. Just need a sparkly jacket π

Remember when Bruce Forsythe did Price is Right? Some of those "Prize Girl" models were lovely.
I also remember when Leslie Crowther did it (yes, I am THAT old, as you know I was 50 last week)

I certainly do remember Bruce. Oh yeah how was your birthday?

Pretty good, in fact it was one of the best ever.

That's good to hear!

@Rachel_Scope How much longer am I going to be on post approval? It's becoming rather annoying to be honest.

Hi @SheffieldMan1976, I've sent you a PM.

not been on a gameshow but me and a friend went to the dome when it opened and they were filming its a knockout, so went to watch, you could see me in the background watching, it was very funny
if i were to go on a gameshow i would choose pointless or tipping point
a gameshow i would love to go on is hog, just because i want the wheely luggage
0 -
Pointless is probably the one gameshow I wouldn't want to go on because I'm not very good at it @kreacher! I had to look up hog and now realise you mean House of Games. I've struggled to get into watching it, I think I need the tacky flashing lights π I saw the wheelie luggage going on ebay for Β£260!

Peaky Blinders, in a scene with Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy

Back in the day I wanted to go on Knightmare, but I wasn't popular at school so I'd have struggled to come up with a team of advisors, and even if I'd gone on the team would've probably got me "killed" in level 1, on purpose.

I'll fight you for that roleβ¦π
