New APA for UC
Hi
My son was approved for weekly APA on 9th April and was to start from 29th April. He checked his statement today and it says your payment this month is £££ and it will be paid on 29th April.
Tried phoning UC and they said it could he an error or the statement could be wrong and the APA has still been set up, she wasnt very helpful and said to send a journal message.
I have tried searching the Web and get conflicting information.
Do UC statements give the weekly dates and amounts when on an APA or is it the total amount and then payments just made every 7-8 days
He is panicking because he struggles to manage when it is month and was relieved that it would be weekly now doesnt know if he is coming or going.
Thanks for any advice

I have a twice monthly APA. On logging in to my home page it says I will be paid half my monthly amount on one date and the other half on a different date

Hi @Jads5 and welcome to the community. Hopefully it's just an error that can be rectified quickly. Have you sent a journal message?
If it is paid all in one go this month, is there a way he could transfer some of it to you so you could pay him a little each week?
