Hi there my daughter turned 16 in January and we got told to change to pip. Now we are currently in may and havent had anything yet but are still reciving payment from dla. Do i call pip and ask or leave it im worried if i call up they might say no she wont receive pip and will lose all money for her. Sorry im new to all this only started to clame when she was 15.half

Hi,
There's no need to call PIP. The DLA payments will continue until a PIP decision is made. That could still be many months away.

Hi @danni_23 and a warm welcome to the community from me!
As OverlyAnxious said above, you don't need to do anything as your daughter will still be getting her payments until a decision is made.
There's a big backlog as well so it can take a lot longer than 4/8 weeks at the moment unfortunately.
It's lovely to have you here and I hope you enjoy your time on the community.0
