LCWRA backpay amount
Hi I’m new on here so please bear with me lol I need to ask I’ve been awarded the higher level on LCWRA only last week my first payment is on the 16th may my first sick note went in on the 1st of November 2025 so my question is how much back pay will I receive and is there a rough date when it gets paid ?

Hi,
Based on those dates you should be due 2 months worth of LCWRA at pre-April rates. That works out as approximately £850.
There isn't a set timescale but 2-4 weeks seems to be about average at the moment.

hi I’m new to this I have just been awarded LCWRA I have been waiting since October 2024 for assessment and had that in April this year and was awarded it but they have said lower rate just wondering if that’s right thank you

No that's not right. If you started the Health Journey before April 2026 then you should be entitled to the pre-2026 rate of LCWRA. Have you got LCWRA showing on a statement yet to confirm the rate?
