PIP phone assessment tomorrow

Hi all. So I have my first PIP phone assessment tomorrow morning and I have been so so anxious and stressed about it.
I am claiming pip for POTS, PmDD, autism, adhd and anxiety & ocd.

I have prepared notes (quite a lot maybe too many notes) and printed out my own form that i filled out. I’m also struggling a lot with my mental health most of the time and recently it’s been really bad so the anxiety is like through the roof about this.
I’m scared I’m gonna mess it up as I struggle with phone calls and when anxious I stumble with my words and forget stuff. If I said that would that go against my case? Can I still look at notes?

Is there a way to prepare myself for the phone call? I’m already assuming I probably won’t get awarded anything based on everyone’s outcome but at the moment I just wish it was over and done with it.

Yes you can look at notes during the assessment. Lots of people do if they feel anxious or are worried about forgetting something. If you become anxious and start to struggle you can ask for a break to give yourself a chance to take a few deep breaths.

    Thank you!

I don’t even know I’m gonna get any sleep over this.

Just had my PIP assessment and feel like it went terribly due to occasional signal issues and my anxiety was so high and stumbled with my words and forgot stuff and my partner kept saying stuff for me. Felt a bit rushed and not able to say more stuff that I had prepared.

After the call I still feel nauseous and anxious. Probably from messing it up.
