Hi, my name is Sarahjayne1981!
please help me!!! I was on middle rate care and lower mobility DLA, I had to change over did that the 17th February
Had a text to say I have been awarded PIP yesterday
Rung and all they can say is is that £750.60 will go in my Bank the 7th July
My DLA is Due the 19th May
Why do I then wait 7 weeks for the pip payment and is it right You receive no back dated money from PIP when changing from DLA
How do I know what my rates are
Many thanks

Hi,
You will receive a letter in the post soon telling you which rates you get.
Usually we can work it from a payment, but £750.60 doesn't fit any combination of PIP rates.
You may still get another DLA payment after the 19th, DLA should be paid for 4 weeks after your PIP decision.
There is no backpay because you have been getting DLA while waiting for the PIP decision.
