Hi,

I am planning on taking my Autistic son for treatments in Egypt for up to 6 month.

The treatments include:

Chelation Therapy "heavy metal detoxification".

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Medication prescribed by psychiatric such as Respiridone and Olanzpine.

My question is : Are these medical treatments acceptable by UC ?

Kind regards,

I have no idea about any treatments, but you need to report being overseas for more than 28 days.

Hi @Blue22, I've not heard of this before so I'm not too sure but I know you need to make them aware you're going abroad as ColonelBlink has advised. Perhaps you can give them a call to ask about this. It may also be worth speaking with your NHS Doctor if you haven't already too, just to get their views.
