As someone who loves to be snuggled up at home, I love a good film!

My favourite is Breakfast at Tiffany's. I just adore Holly Golightly and can resonate with her a lot. It's also very silly but a great love story. 😊

What's your favourite film and why?

Oooh this is a tough one!!

I really like Cheaper by the Dozen 1 & 2, Princess Diaries and the live action Scooby Doo films (2002 and 2004) as they very nostalgic to me🤩

I also LOVE Bridesmaids and I hope every year we will get a sequel. Just what a hilarious bunch of women🤣🤣

I've never seen Breakfast at Tiffanys though!

It has to be Metropolis. It's a black and white silent film from 1927 but it's so ahead of its time. It has a humanoid robot! Here's a synopsis:

"Metropolis tells the story of man and machines living alongside one another, whether one rules the other or enslaves the other no one can truly know for sure: unless you live in the privileged The Tower of Babel. The fate of the city changes forever when the 'Maschinenmensch', under the guise of the saintly woman Mariah, determines the fate of all Metropolis and tries turning the city's ruling class and the working class against each other."

When I first watched it I immediately watched it again! You can even watch the full film on YouTube and I would really encourage you to.

    Zulu

Whilst not factually correct, the bravery on both sides always gets to me

One of my favourite films ever was The Never Ending Story(first one), although 40 odd years later I still can't watch that bit where the Horse sinks without crying.

It's a kids film but I put School of Rock on when I'm feeling unwell, it's one of few films I've seen more than once.

I don't have the attention span to sit through a full movie any more, I tend to stick to TV series.

That's a great film. Still disturbing even by todays standards

The Full Monty has to be up there for me too. I'm still waiting for the day when I'm stood in a queue and 'Hot Stuff' plays on the Muzic system

    I also like Dirty dancing.

I've lost count of the amount of times I watched it, and Educating Rita too.

It's so difficult to pick one, but the one that still intrigues me even though i've seen it loads of times is, Donnie Darko. The first time i watched it, i was like wow, what was that?!! The soundtrack, the dialogue, the acting, and then the actual story just blew me away. The whole concept of it is very original and it challenges you on so many levels. I get why some people wouldn't like it, but i think it's pretty unique and i find it fascinating…….😊

OMG … get out of my head. Love that film too. One of the best endings in a film IMO

@StarryEyed YES. One of my ambitions before I pop off is to do that … I'll have to bribe the staff in Home Bargains 😃
