Freelance work ESA
Hello!
I called the DWP to talk about working as a freelancer whilst on ESA. I said i wanted to change it so i was spreading my allowed income across the year as opposed to across the week as sometimes i get no work and then i'll get a few things at once. I could 2 months with no payment and then have to refuse work 2 months down the line as it goes over the threshold that month.
The man on the phone said I just needed to send in their work permission form and explain i'm freelance.
I also wrote a letter back in February but haven't had any correspondence.
I'm about to call them but i get a different answer each time i call so i just thought i would ask if anyone has done something similar in the group? (as in spread across the year not the month).
Thanks
