Of Bowel Cancer! And I'm currently worried sick because I can't get hold of my family to discuss it.

I realise I turned 50 6 weeks yesterday ago and it's standard for a bloke my age, and there's family history of Cancer on both sides, Grandad died in August 1997, and he was a heavy smoker, and 2 out of 3 of Dad's sisters also died because they were heavy smokers.

However, I've never smoked and never will, not even Vapes.

I am obviously concerned about this and nobody will talk to me, do I need to be so worried?

    No, you don't need to be worried. You don't have any symptoms. This is just a screening check based on age.

    If the sample result is positive, then you can start worrying.

    I never bothered responding, I suppose I should send a sample next time they ask.
