New here :)
Hi Everyone,
I've got rather isolated at home since I lost my job in 2024. Am mostly I'm laid up with moderate M.E., but am collecting diagnoses, or as I like to think of them, letters after my name!
I have not many hobbies left, mainly cooking healthy & interesting food, and I'm enjoying watching K drama, and slowly learning Korean. I have 2 dogs but we don't get to walk so far or so often now.

Hi @KBSall_scars and a warm welcome to the community from me!
Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself. Learning korean sounds very cool! How are you finding learning it?
We have lots of members with dogs on the community as well as other furry friends, you may enjoy the Pets Corner. What dogs do you have?😊
Lovely to have you here and I look forward to seeing you around the community!0 -
Hi Mary_Scope,
Thank you for your message :)
The Korean is slow going with brain fog. Some days I remember words but not what they mean, other days are better. I'd be frightened to use it at the moment, I'd no doubt get myself in big trouble! I'm enjoying it tho, my goal is to be able to watch dramas without the subtitles on.
I have 2 Cocker Spaniels, brother & sister that came from rescue 10 years ago. They are great at home but very lively as soon as walkies is sensed. I've slowed down more than they have! Luckily we have a park very close by, I can still manage some days :) I shall check out your Pet's Corner, thank you :)
