uc and transitional protection

Hi, I migrated from legacy benefits to universal credit, in October last year I was awarded, including transitional protection. When my rent increased, my housing award went up. With the yearly upgrade, I am currently about £50 a month worse off than before. Anything went up, like the housing and the yearly upgrade, and they keep telling me that it's correct, and I don't believe it is.

Yes this is correct.
Any increase to the other UC elements will cause a corresponding decrease to your Transitional Protection m
