Ney style ESA support group
I have just had my letter through saying I am successful in my ESA application and have been put in the support group. On the letter it says to let them know if my partner has a change in job or savings too. But I thought the new style esa doesn't have anything to do with mine or my partners savings or my partners work? Am I just being dopey for not understanding new style ESA properly?

Hi,
That does sound like a confusing letter.
You are correct that New Style ESA is only for yourself, and not affected by your partners work or savings.
You are still meant to report if a partner moves in or out while on NS ESA, but I can't remember seeing change of partners work or savings on NS ESA letters before. Could you upload a photo of that section of the letter so that we can read exactly how it's worded?
