Hi im Liz/Lizzie or I answer to most things, usually a meow :)

I was just called by SCOPE as I requested some stickers, I did not realise that SCOPE was for disabled people. I have had a kidney transplant 17 years ago, & touch wood it is going good. I have had renal failure all my life, I am now 53. I also have trigeminal neuralgia, diabetes type2, fibromyalgia, recurrent DVTs, brittle bones, osteoarthritis, that's just the major things I guess, then suffer with the normal things like migraines, tiredness etc. So as you can imagine I take a few meds everyday.

I volunteer at a cat rescue 'The Moggery' in Bristol, & hence I have brought a couple home, I have 6 of my own, plus one that lives over the road, but spends a lot of his time here, cheeky monkey.

I have a great family, & my boyfriend of 11 years, who are a great support. I have lost a lot of my friends through my illness, & my best friend Tina, I lost her through cancer :(

Ill finish there for now, if anyone would like to chat, make friends, im always around :) xx

Hi @Meowsmom and a warm welcome to the community from me!

Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself.

I bet volunteering at the cat rescue is so rewarding. I would be the same if I volunteered at an animal rescue, especially if there was dogs I know I could give a kind and loving home too😅 What are your cats names?

We do have a Pets Corner on the community and this is we post our pictures of our furry friends. We're a big pet loving community😊

Do you have any hobbies or interests? What do you like to do for fun?

Welcome @Meowsmom! So cool that you volunteer at the cat rescue. Is it very tempting to adopt more? Although I bet 6 and your straggler from over the road keep you busy enough!

Hope you'll enjoy your time on the community ☺️

@Meowsmom Welcome to the Community from me too. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum. Any questions just ask.

Thank you for telling us something about yourself.

It must be very fulfilling working at the cat rescue in Bristol. How could you not bring a couple home with you. Having six cats must be challenging sometimes.

I have a 15 month old cat called Sam who keeps me on my toes.

I look forward to seeing you around the forum.

    Take care.
