Creating a cosplay of "The Shadow"?
This is the character I want to do a custom cosplay of, I have the black trousers, a black top, how would I make the red scarf? I don't think the 2 prop guns would be appropriate, probably wouldn't get past security checks at a Con.
I think I'd also need to try and make the long black cloak, I'll see if I can get Mum to help with that.
Any ideas on how to make everything?

Here's me as the potential action figure of the costume, created using ChatGPT.

That's cool. The red scarf looks like a thin, silky material… is that right? Could you maybe look at either purchasing one, or if you wanted to make one looking at getting a bit of material from a clothing fabric shop and starting with that? Same goes for the cape?
Is your Mum good at making clothing? And did you think anymore about a sewing machine yourself? I know you were looking into that a few weeks ago which would be cool if you're starting to make your own 😊

Mum says she can sort the scarf for me.
Regarding the black cloak, I've got a hooded one in the cupboard, just need to keep the hood down.
I've also got the hat which I got for an Undertaker cosplay (WWE) about 2 years ago.

I've never heard of the Shadow. It's a cool costume!

Sounds like you're almost there with it then @SheffieldMan1976! Will you show us the finished costume when it's ready?

Used to be a Radio show back in the 40s apparently.
And there was a movie in 1994 starring Alec Baldwin and Tim Curry.

Of course, if you don't find it too scary (as you probably know, I can sometimes be a bit scary even in normal clothes lol)

Not at all! I love your costumes.😄 And I forgot to say yesterday, I think your pretend guns might be ok for comicons. When I went to the last one, people had fake guns and swords. And they had a few stalls selling bits like this.

@Rachel_Scope Here's a WIkipedia link explaining the origin of the Shadow character.

Oh thanks @SheffieldMan1976! I love this ability -
"Low-level superhuman strength (able to lift a sturdy armored warrior with only one hand)"
Very specific 😂

This looks very cool @SheffieldMan1976! They may have a scarf in a charity shop and I'd imagine it would be very cheap too!

Good point, I might try the BHF shop in Crystal Peaks.
