I had L5/S1 surgery in 2001 and I had epidurals and spine blocks either side of surgery. Pain has increased and I was told I had failed back surgery syndrome and then they changed it to the updated PSPS-TYPE2 but scans showed nerve clumping and tethering and a separate test concluded my S1 nerve route was dead. They offered me a spinal tap and more epidurals which I refused and I sent my MRI to the world renowned Dr Forest Tennant who confirmed he saw adhesive arachnoiditis. In 2011 I was offered a prescription via the NHS if sativex but it was a private prescription and I could not afford it. I have since used specific Terpene profile medical cannabis to help symptoms but as there is no cure and it's progressive i find myself requiring more help and support.
