What happens when I send pip review form in ?

in PIP, DLA, ADP & AA

Hi I'm in the middle of filling my pip review form (my partner is filling it in for me because of my severe arthritis in my hands) Will they make a decision just on my paper-based review can they decide not to award me or would they have to ask for more info or do a telephone assessment Thanks

    I'd strongly recommend sending it recorded/signed for delivery to ensure it doesn't go walkies in the post.

    Other than that, it'll take as long as it takes for them to make a decision, could be a week or 2, could be a month, each case is different.

    Hi,

    They can choose to make the decision either way just based on the paperwork if they believe they have enough information.

    If they don't feel they have enough information then they will either give you a short random phone call just to confirm one or two things, or send a time and date for a full verbal assessment via telephone or video if they require a lot more information.

    Hi yes, I think I will end up getting a phone assessment because so much has changed with my health conditions mainly due to the fibro and arthritis especially in my hands these are a lot worse since my last review. I don't mind getting a call that way we can explain the problems I have.
