ESA credits only when to apply
As I now understand that I will lose my child and disabled elements from my UNIVERSAL CREDIT as my son turns 19 in July (ECHP/enhanced PIP). I am wondering what is the best way forward..
My son would ideally like to stay on to do level three of the same course he has to pass a test to get onto this and he can only go back if he can claim universal credits himself as I will be in Dire Straits financially! I am his appointee.
So should I apply on his behalf for a credit only ESA before on this course? I have seen that people say apply for a LCWRA and to get fit notes from the doctor. But I don’t know if this would apply to him as he can work, but will be limited to certain types of jobs because of his autism.
My son turns 19 in July.
Any help would be much appreciated.

My advice would be the same as before, to contact Disability Rights UK who have a Disabled Students Helpline as this is a complex area to give advice on. They are experts in this area.
