    Afternoon all,

    Some interesting results last night (but that Portugal/Spain game is something I could have done without watching!)

    The final games of the round of 16 wrap up tonight:

    5pm (BST): Argentina (@Hope64 and @Alisonjaneg) v Egypt (@Rosie_Scope)

    9pm (BST): Switzerland (@Mr_Shoes_Tied and @gothchick56) v Colombia (@Bluebell21 v @elle19)

    Both games are being played at relatively reasonable hours. Will you be watching? Can Egypt spring a bit of a surprise on the defending champions?

    My predictions are Argentina and Columbia to win. I plan to watch both, so long as I don't fall asleep…

    I'm chuffed that Spain beat Portugal last night, because I don't like Portugal, and Spain are my team in the Sweepstake. It was a snoozefest of a match though! I think everyone was relieved when it did not go to extra time. 🤣

    And Belgium were just epic! 👏

    Hello, I think Argentina will win comfortably and really surprised that Egypt have made it this far. I thought even Egypt’s penalties the other night were actually quite poor and were fortunate to go in. I’d really like Colombia to win with their fast and vibrant football but Switzerland are a good team and don’t know the outcome so can’t guess this one

    I was really impressed with England the other night. It was very exciting and they did really well, I was glad I stayed awake to watch it :) I do think they’ll be sent home by Norway though

    The Spain game was one of the worst to watch so far.

    I kind of wish I'd stayed up for the Belgium one!

    The Spain game was bad when they do not even roll on the grass, nothing much is happening.

    I only watched half of Belgium I fell asleep. Just glad they won.

    I struggled with the Spain game too. I think Portugal really cost themselves at this World Cup with starting Ronaldo. They have many fast attacking forwards and midfielders in their squad yet they have to play at a slower pace to fit Ronaldo in. It was never going to work
