Forced treatment under mental health PLEASE HELP
I am being forced an injection under mental health. I do not agree with the treatment and believe I am not being heard. Mind weren't helpful. I am considering paying for a private psychiatric assessment. I have a manageable condition which forced detention exacerbates. I have blogged controversially and I believe people have grudges against me and I have surrogate children due to PCOS and want to get back to work. I am vulnerable to my exes family and my family.

Hi @paintazebra
I’m really sorry you’re going through this. It sounds like a very stressful situation, especially if you feel you’re not being listened to.
If you are being treated or detained under the Mental Health Act, you still have rights and should be involved in decisions about your care. It might help to speak to an Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA). They are there to support you, help you understand what’s happening, and speak up on your behalf if needed.
You can find more about IMHAs on the NHS website.
You could also try VoiceAbility (they provide IMHA services in many areas) or POhWER or Rethink Mental Illness.
If you’re considering a private assessment, that’s something you’re allowed to explore, but it can be helpful to get independent advice first so you understand how it might affect your current care.
It may also be important to get registered with a GP as soon as you can, as they can help coordinate your care and refer you to the right support.
If you don’t feel safe or things feel overwhelming, you can contact your local NHS urgent mental health helpline or Samaritans (24/7 support): 116 123

You need specialist advice from local services, not an online forum like Scope.
