What’s your best useless party trick?
Let’s have it! What’s a completely pointless skill you’re secretly proud of?
I can do a spot-on impression of a deflating balloon. Not exactly life-changing, but it can fill the silence in my GP surgery 🤣
Your turn! What have you got?

I do an awful Sean Connery impression but still insist on doing it 😂

I do an almost perfect Liverpool accent, in the style of Paul "Barry Grant/Des Taviner" Usher, "Are you avin' a laugh?!"

I can’t do any accents or at least not without offending anybody in earshot!!

I'm not sure I'd dare do it in front of my Scottish friend for that reason😂

I’ve “perfected” a Scottish accent from reading stories to my kids. I accidentally gave a character (a chaotic, megalomaniac monkey) in this seemingly never ending book series we read, a really strong and totally generic Scots accent. Obviously I now have to do it every time he talks. And he talks a lot.
I will not be demonstrating this here or in team meetings. Or anywhere else.
Aside from that, I’m really really good at doing things with my toes like picking things up, writing, etc.1 -
Ow wow, brilliant! 😂 I vote for a performance combining both of these skills at the same time!

I second that @Holly_Scope
I can hardly even wiggle my toes let alone write with them!!

I'm another talented toe person! I've got hypermobile toes and they've done all sorts of useful tricks for me through the years so I'm quite dexterous with them.
I can also play music using my mouth by tapping my jaw bone and opening and closing my mouth to different positions. I don't even know if I've explained that in a way that makes sense 😂
I think I saw a video once of a young Daniel Radcliffe doing the same talent on Jonathan Ross so I'll see if I can find that. Edit: it's here around the 6.40 mark.

I'm yet to find mine, unless you count finding a way to make conversations awkward? 😆
I did used to do card tricks a lot and got pretty good at them with slight of hand

When I was younger I used to be rather good at doing Star jumps during the warm ups at Taekwondo.
But it'll be 10 years in October since I started training.

Starting an argument in an empty room ?
I used to be able to twist an apple in half but lack of grip put paid to that
… was hoping to win BGT 😐️

my right little finger i can bend round, that freaks people out

Are you hypermobile @kreacher? I can make my thumb touch my forearm, but it turns out quite a few people I know can do it, so it's not such a good trick!
@WelshBlue have you seen Bob Mortimer do that trick?
Ooh star jumps are tricky. Were you able to get some good height @SheffieldMan1976?
Card tricks are cool @Mr_Shoes_Tied! Have you thought about doing them again?

I think we should make @Adrian_Scope and @Rosie_Scope have a foot-off 🤣

That does sound freaky. I always quiver when I see people move their bodies in ways that don't seem possible. Pretty cool thing to be able to do though. 😅

If I'd been wearing one of the bird costumes I could've probably took off lol.

I can put on compression socks in about 10 seconds! Anyone that's ever had to put them on will know what an impressive skill that is.
2 -
I can untangle any knot without getting frustrated. Shoelaces are my speciality
0 -
Can I borrow you at Christmas for my lights? Every year I get to the point where I'm so frustrated with them I start wondering if throwing them away and buying new ones is a reasonable response.
1 -
Send them over. It’s therapeutic. Perfectly reasonable response to throw them away though
I’ve probably binned dozens of plates instead of washing them up because I forgot to scrape them the night before
