The 'It's fine, it'll go away' award (Men's Health Week)
Let's be honest: we're all experts at ignoring that weird ache or the tiredness that never quite goes away. I know I usually tell myself, "it's probably nothing…"
But what's one "it's probably nothing" thing you've been ignoring lately? Perhaps it'll give you the push you need to finally get checked!

I found it so hard to get to see a GP, I just gave up. Many of us have a number of minor ailments that we just learn to put up with. Muscular Dystrophy is incurable and untreatable, a few additional problems can be managed, provided one doesn't dwell on them.
I don't take any medication now, one gets used to pain. If it hurts, you know you're still alive. 🤔
Life is like a box of chocolates, a philosopher once opined. 😉

That is brilliantly put. Respect to you
A psychologist at a pain clinic once said to me … are you scared of not feeling/ having pain ?
I'm not scared, but having it helps to make sense of who I've become and not mourn the person I was
