hi I put in a reconsideration for my daughter back in I rang them today and they said they made was sent the 13th which was a had any yet with the decision or any payments going to does anyone know whether payments would normally go into bank before you get the letter? If it’s a yes? And if that’s true what day would I be looking at from the 13th which is a Saturday.

    They usually say it takes around 2 weeks for the letter to arrive, @netty7777 , but payments are often made within 7 days, so they can arrive before the letter.

    If the reconsideration is unsuccessful, will you appeal to the tribunal?

    Hi @netty7777. Sometimes it can take a little while for them to process things. I don't have direct experience of this, but many of the sources I've seen say around 3-5 days for any payments to arrive in your bank, and that would usually be working days.

    Keep a look out to see if you might have received anything in your account. But hopefully your letter will get to you over the next few days to confirm things ☺️

    When did you first apply for DLA? Has it been a long wait for the reconsideration? Fingers crossed it's a positive result!
