What PIP paperwork do I need to keep for next review

High there, I have had PIP since 2016/7 and I had to fight hard to get what I was entitled to so I have lots of paperwork from that time. I'm 75 now and due a 10 year review sometime soon. Although I can still write OK I am much worse in other ways. I'm currently sorting out lots of paperwork as we're planning to try and get moved to Sheltered Housing. What do I need to keep and what can be thrown out.

Hi @wildlife, if you have a copy of your report or the answers you wrote, that can be handy as a reference for what's changed when you get to review. Things like doctors letters or test results can also be handy to submit as evidence, but less so if they're not very recent.

As it's been almost 10 years, it's likely that a fair bit has changed, so I wouldn't worry too much about keeping things unless you can see that they might be useful to you for the review.

Thank-you Rosie, So DWP don't need anything from last time unless it applies to me now. That's very helpful. As regards the move, I am housebound now and love our present home but it's in a village with nothing here. You have to drive to anywhere. My hubby is 78 and just diagnosed with early Macular Degeneration apart from the Lymphoma he also has had for a few years now. So it's going to be necessary to move to get the help we're going to need in future. I see/talk to no-one here apart from him and would like to have some friends in case I get left on my own. I can't bear the thought as things are. I looked after an elderly relative years ago who had made no changes or plans for her future so I know what can happen if we don't move now. Sounds like a much needed change @wildlife and very sensible to be in a place where you can get some support and community around you. A family member was in supported housing for a while and it was lovely to see her neighbours looking out for her and popping in to each other's places when they could. I hope you'll find the same community once you move, it makes all the difference to have friends around to look out for you ☺️

Have you had your review forms through yet, or are you just getting ahead in preparation?

Just preparing as part of a big clear out. We've been here for 13 years and it's surprising how much stuff you have that isn't needed for every day living. I usually end up throwing things out then regretting it later but it's very necessary ATM. I'm just keeping the application form I initially filled in and any evidence I have that applies to how I am now. I'm on Systmonline so can easily screen shot anything else I need from there. Thanks again..
