Returned from Decision makers and waiting to be actioned?

I everyone, I'm New and feel relieved to have contact with other people.

I've been going through the motions with my application for LCWRA. It's very stressful. Briefly, I suffer from a disease affecting my brain. It's been a long journey and not finalised. Upon enquiry I received an email to say that my case had been returned from the decision makers, Also that it was waiting to be actioned, and although they couldn't give a date, they would do so as soon as possible. I would like to know what the term 'waiting to be actioned means? Now I have another staff member telling me that my case is still with the decision maker. I'm really stressed. I assumed that a decision had been made.

    Sorry to hear your LCWRA process has been stressful so far. "Waiting to be actioned" is usually that they're still processing it in some way, but it's really difficult to say what that might mean for you. How long ago did you get the email that said it was waiting to be actioned? Has anything been put into your journal at all?

    Fingers crossed they're almost there and you can get it all sorted soon.

    Hi Rosie, thankyou so much. The date of their email is 13th May 2026. I don't have a journal as it's being dealt with by their international office. It's been about 15 months to date now, I've kept in touch and they've been pretty responsive. I've used both telephone and email. So, I was quiet chuffed to get this email, I just need to know what it means i.e the vocabulary. Despite asking, I can't seem to get a straight answer. Now I have two case examiners saying opposite things. So, I kind of give up and thought I'd find a forum to see if anyone else might know. I used to be an English Teacher, so I thought it would be obvious. So, here I am :-)
