I don't usually say "Hello" when I join a forum: I lurk about for a bit, then jump in with both feet...

But here they presented me with the post already started which made me think twice, and the nature of the place led me to think that maybe I ought to this time.

I am, as an old friend used to describe me as "Wired up wrong", about which I was very pleased yesterday when a not so old friend recognised it as a description of neurodivergence. We were discussing whether it qualifies as a disability in a particular context... I don't think it much matters there, but I have been sorely discriminated against in other fields, most notably by the mayor of West Yorkshire and His Majesty's Court and Tribunal Service.

Those are long and sorry stories which I will tell if asked, but I think this is long enough for an introduction and I'd best have a look around.

I was going to say that I don't need people to tell me that my wiring is not "Wrong", but I forgot. I know that it is just different rather than wrong, but the description was coined in friendship and it works for me, so I run with it. :)
