Anyone else find small everyday wins keep you going?

Had a proper good morning today. Made a full cup of tea, it didn't go cold, and I actually sat down to drink it. Sounds tiny, I know. But on some days that genuinely feels like a victory.

Curious if others have little things like that moments that sound unremarkable from the outside but feel like a big deal when you're having a rough patch. Would love to hear what yours are.

Hi @MorningMummy welcome to the Community. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum. Any questions just ask.

It is a victory, small things that we can achieve matter and can make us feel good about ourselves.

Sometimes just getting up is a small/big deal.

Have a look around and join in when you are ready.

    Take care.

Hi @MorningMummy! Great question, and yes I love my little wins. Recent ones for me are cooking a bacon butty for myself and my friend, putting some washing on, making my husband a cup of tea, and pairing some socks!

I think it's important to count all the little things we achieve, especially when we're struggling.

Am I right in assuming that you're a mum? I have a son who just finished his GCSEs and a daughter who's 18 months old. Getting to drink a hot cup of tea is quite an achievement!

Aw, I love tiny kids, so adorably cute bless.

I was that small once, a LONG time ago, although as daft as it sounds I remember some of it as if it was last week.

Hello @MorningMummy and welcome to Scope 🤩

Yes, the small wins lead to bigger ones. My motto when I was at my lowest - floating from one day to the next - was "notice what works and repeat". I did and it did!

Last night in the silly hours, I boiled some eggs so I wouldn't have the steam and pong to deal with today. Fast food in the fridge when I want it.

    Lovely to have you here.
