I keep hearing so much about reform and now labour going for people on disability benefits or universal credit , elections never used to bother me but now I’m panicking when someone mentions a new leader or or general election , how likely is it that my pip or UC will be effected ,lowered or even scrapped

This rhetoric has been going on for years.
Only a small amount of the proposals eventually make it into reality.
I know it's difficult but try to limit your worries to any changes that are 100% confirmed.

Hi @whufcjay. I understand it can be really worrying with all the political stuff that's going on right now. As Kimi has mentioned, not all proposals are approved so until we hear something for definite try not to worry.
