Check claim - Can't edit bank account amount, what do I do?

I recieved a message on my to do list to check and confirm claim details. Everything was correct apart from the amount they had down in the money, savings and investments part. It was the amount given in my account when I opened my uc account which is now a lower amount (the new amount is way under £6k and i only have one bank account) anyway when it gets to this part it says "You told us you have (X) amount in a bank ending **** This is the account you want your uc paid into. When i click no change this it doesnt give me an opportunity to put the new amount in. It just asks me to tick to confirm that everything is correct then submit. How will I update the amount? I'm getting myself into a state as dont want to do anything wrong

Hi @alisha sorry it's not working for you. You could add a note to your journal to explain what's happening and that you'd like to update your amount. You could also call them if that would make you feel less worried. You're not doing anything wrong, it seems like a technical glitch which can happen.

Are you currently having money taken off your UC due to previously having savings over £6k?

No money being deducted as im no where near £6k

Someone on another group said click submit then go into my homepage and report a change of circumstances and put the correct amount in the money, savings and investments part.

If I add a note on my journal what category would I put it under as I dont work i recieve LCWRA. I would call but Im not very good on the phone.

I just dont want to get it wrong

Yes you could do it as a change of circumstances then there's no need to worry about which category to put it in on your journal. Try not to worry. You haven't gone over the savings threshold and they're not taking any money from you so it won't affect anything. Put in the change of circumstances and try to forget about it 😊

Ok I'll do that then. I get so stressed out with the simplest of things but never want to get it wrong. Thank you for your help

@Rachel_Scope I got so stressed out for nothing. I clicked no change this then submit and it automatically took me to the back to my to do list where I could update the amount. I feel so silly now for getting into a state but at least its all done now. Thank you once again for being so kind. Also im not coping in this heat its too much but hope your bearing up ok with it

Oh you needn't worry about that, everyone gets a bit stressed in this heat.

I didn't sleep most of last week because of it.
