Everybody wants me to be mad
"Everybody wants me to be mad about something, but they don't agree about what"
Heard this line in a song and it is 100% me. Does anyone else feel like this? Everyone seems mad at something all of the time and I just don't. I wouldn't even want to. I don't like how it feels. I just swing with the good and bad. It's all part of life and part of the journey.
I don't get mad or deep much at all.
"I just sit back and watch as public opinion swings and shifts."

What song is this from?
I used to always be angry about something but I've learned to focus my energy into positive things and it's really helped me over the years.

I'm always in a mood about summat or other.
Such as I've barely slept all week due to the extreme heat.

It's called "20 seconds on Twitter", it's a little niche but fun

Me neither but I'm not mad about it
I figure it can either impact my sleep or it can impact my sleep and my whole day feeling grumpy about it

That's a catchy little song!

I spent too many years angry at myself and the world. Very destructive
It took a while to get there, a lot of work from the NHS and myself and now if I can't change it, I don't stress about it
I know I'm very lucky, not everyone is able to be in that 'place'

Maybe I'm not normal but I don't have any unexpressed anger either? I really don't get mad fullstop. I can't think of anything that would make me angry rant on Twitter or stomp around being rude to other people.
I just really don't get mad

I also think the line about agreeing is a bit tongue in cheek, of course what makes us mad is individual. For example it's like a nod to the left vs the right, both sides are angry about completely different things and want us all to be equally angry about it.

Meh, I deleted my Twitter account last year because of that.

People have always been rude to me, why would you think they haven't? It just doesn't make me mad, they can think and do what they want, same as I can. It doesn't feel worth getting mad over or taking revenge on.
They're people, same as me, faults and all. There could be a million reasons for their rudeness or maybe they weren't rude at all. I could have taken it that way because of my own experiences and stuff. I don't know and never will and never wasted time trying to figure it out.
I remember at school my friends would always comment that nothing seemed to phase me, they'd try and provoke me and make me mad and honestly, nothing ever did.

Did that make you mad? 😁
I wish I could be a calmer person internally. I do see red quickly but don't have the stature to back it up! So it generally doesn't leave my brain for fear of repercussions. But I often find my inner monologue starting to rant and having to actively stop it several times a day.
For me the biggest triggers are other people being inconsiderate or me feeling misunderstood. I think it's more frustration than anger, although I'm not sure I could define either perfectly.

I don't get mad at day to day things really, it's more global injustices and politics that get me fired up!
But even then I find myself on the fence a lot. There are some things I'm really passionate about, especially when things unfair or unjust, but I'm pretty chilled too.
By the way @Mr_Shoes_Tied, I'm a huge fan of Ian McConnell! My 'alternative' teen plays his music a lot and I can't help but sing along. I just clocked your name too 😍😅

I'm sorry you've ever been in a position of needing to be a whistleblower, that must have been difficult, I know I found it hard when I worked in a care home, it wasn't pleasant but some things are important.
