Can I train my dog to safely walk beside me on a lead. Hes a springer spaniel and quite sensible. Ive just got my first electric wheelchair

    Hi @Shaz72 and a warm welcome to the community from me!

    I don't have experience of this myself so I'm just going to edit the title of this post so it is easier to find for members who may have trained their dogs to do so, so that they are able to share their experience and any tips. Hope that's okay!

    I did two videos on teaching your dog to walk with a wheelchair and lead walking with a mobility scooter that may be helpful😊

    Springer spaniels are so clever too! What is yours called?

    Staffy Gus walks easily beside me, we have gone from stick, rollator, scooter and now powerchair together. The same rules apply, any time they pull, just stop and wait until they fall back into position.

    This took months btw, it wasn't easy.
