hi you guys I have some good news.

Since 2020 I have suffered badly with my disability and I was awarded the basic level but as time went on my disability was getting a lot worse so I went back to my doctor and was told that my arthritis of the spine was getting worse so I informed PIP of my disability getting worse and was informed that I didn’t warrant getting a new grade because they believed I could do most tasks without assistance even though I needed a walking aid to walk a few metres. My health deteriorated quite quickly after that and my breathing started to become a problem so on 19/12/2024 I put in a new claim and asked for a face to face medical which both where denied so I decided to apply to the tribunal to hear my case which they did 16 months later on the 15/06/2026 having seen all of the facts and the representative from the DWP was unable to answer any of the courts questions to why this case had been allowed to go this far the court found in my favour and awarded me the enhanced daily living allowance and the enhanced mobility allowance backdated to 19/12/2026. My money will come through when they are good and ready to send it. The day after my hearing I went back to the hospital for my test results to find out why my health has deteriorated so much and I was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer which had spread to my chest and I just thought to myself if they had done a face to face medical examination they would have seen how much I was suffering with my body and could have made a decision from there. I know that not all disabilities are visible but mine was and you can not see it over a telephone call. So if there is anyone who is pulling their hair out trying to get these people to understand I’m here to help because for the first 4 years I wish I had done a lot of things which would have helped me but I chose not to.
