PIP extension
Hi . I have received a letter stating my 4 year award ( enhanced for both ) is to be extended by one month to June 2027 and that they may extend it again . Is this because I am due to retire in July 2027

Hi @Tobin711 and welcome to the community. I haven't heard of that either. It's possible that it's related to your reaching state pension age but I couldn't be sure. Maybe some of our members have had the same experience.
Have you thought about calling them to ask?

I think it is related to my retirement date which is July 2027 and moving it to June 2027 may be because of that . It would probably mean that when they extend it if they extend it I would have to be nearer my pension age . They have stated they may extend it again so I think I’ll just hope it’s later on in the year !!
