PIP indefinate v ongoing

I am an appointee for someone who has a current PIP award from 2017. The original letter states ongoing award and to be looked at after May 2027. However when we went onto the goverment website to check his award it now states indefinate with no date to be reviewed. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could mean.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, I've made a mistake @NeuroEve.

An ‘indefinite award’. If you have an indefinite award the DWP will usually review it every 10 years. I've got confused with something else. So he's been awarded forever, but will usually be reviewed every 10 years. Apologies again.

No problem, we did think that may be the case. Just seems odd that it’s gone from ongoing with a contact date to indefinite with no date. Will have to just wait until they contact us.

NeuroEve nothing has changed, they're the same thing.

My situation is exactly the same. Original award letter says enhanced for both from Oct 2019 for an "ongoing" period, but on page 3 of the letter it says we will also contact you again to see if your needs have changed but this won't be til after 13th Oct 2029.

If you check on the gov site it just says indefinite, no dates.

So it will be a light touch review via an ar2 form in 2029 when I will be 56.
