ALL assessments to be recorded
Apologies if someone has already shared this, I've had a busy few days and have not been around.
Earlier this week the DWP announced that all PIP and Work Capability assessments will be recorded from 29th June 2026. So anyone with an upcoming PIP or Work Capability assessment will have them recorded.
One thing that is important to note is that you can still make your own audio recording of an assessment and can choose to opt-out of the DWP recording process if you wish.

if you opt out for them to record it but record it yourself but dont tell them you cant use it against them where as if they record it and give you a copy there can be no i never said that or this its a start in the right direction as i can see

At least it's only audio recording, I'd be concerned if it was video recording that the footage would somehow end up on YouTube, even though that'd be HIGHLY illegal under various data protection laws.
