My 18 year old son is approved full-time home educated/non advance education and has been since age 14 and accepted by UC and child benefit)

He was keen to find a part time job to help him save for driving lessons and a car. Today he has been offered a part time position and the employer is happy to work his hours around his studying/tuition. The working hours are 22hours per week.

my worry is, Will it affect his UC child element and/or child benefit?

I have tried to find information regarding this but it all seems to be centred around children who attend college.

Is there a fixed number of hours he can work without it affecting?

He will still be continuing his home education as the job wont clash with his study classes or tuition times.

I am in receipt of UC child element, Housing element, lcwra and pip- enhanced in both components.
