PIP - Change of circumtstances. Health worsened.
Hi everyone!
Since the last assessement on PIP, my husband health have worsened and he has new diagnoses added. He would like to report change of circumstances to DWP about his health and how this affects his day to day life.
Can anyone know how we can do that and what evidence we would need. Anyone with advise how we can get prepared to do it?
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
If you make a Change of Circumstances with PIP, your husbands claim will be reviewed and he is likely to have to go through another assessment. So you need the same sort of evidence as the first time.
You must make sure he is likely to score enough extra points to be paid a higher rate of PIP than he's currently awarded. Otherwise it is not worth risking his current award by making a CoC.
To start the CoC process, call the PIP phone line on 0800 121 4433. (But not today - they are open 9-5 on weekdays).
