I think everyone could do with a friend who cheers them on then and again for positivity. What about when no one's around though? How do we support ourselves?

I wonder how to manifests posivity within oneself.

That's a great question @catsarefluffy. I sometimes note things down that I'm proud of myself for so I can look back at them when I'm feeling low. Do you think that could work for you?

Yeah I guess so @catsarefluffy. It reminds me that I'm not a horrible person and that I can achieve good things. When I'm feeling down I tend to believe that I can't do anything and that everybody hates me so seeing a list of evidence that that's not true is really useful. Do you think you'll give it a go?

Ah I'm so glad you're going to try it @yellowpineapple84! I literally just type it in my notes app on my phone so I can do it whenever 😊

If I had a Cheerleader, I'd want Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell, to quote Zack, she was a "Knockout" in that Cheerleading outfit.

I see, evidence finding! It can be quite hard when you're feeling low. Or at least I find it hard to see a more logical view when I'm always anxious. Well done for keeping that up.

Yes exactly! I couldn't think of the right word yesterday. I have a lot of anxiety so it's definitely good to refer to. You just need to remember to do it which is hard when you're not in the right frame of mind. Maybe start writing a few things down today of things you're proud of yourself for 😊

@Rachel_Scope how long have you done it for? :)

@catsarefluffy I'm so sorry that I completely missed this! I've done it for a few years now and it definitely helps. Another idea is a collage of all the things you've achieved or are proud of yourself for. Me and my friends made one of the things we'd like to achieve in the upcoming year but I think a retroactive one could be great! I've struggled to find a good example but here's a motivational one. It could be a fun project to do 😊

Wonderful words @sscarer. I agree with everything you've said. Allowing yourself to be sad and accepting that you will have bad days is difficult to accept sometimes but I think it's so important for our wellbeing.
