Starting PIP process

Hi all

A family member is going to apply for pip what is the process? I can’t remember what we did with our sons as a few years ago now.

    Not medical questions. The first call is just establishing basics like name and address.

    The medical information all goes on the form that they'll send after the call.

    My advice is to start a log of the process, with a record of the first phone call, time & date.
    Always send documents signed for (even if they give you a free post envelope)
    And keep a copy/scan.. If you don't own a scanner I recommend ScannerPro on a smartphone. Other apps are available but it works for me
    You can upload/email the scan to yourself. You then have a record of everything .
