Renewal rewarded me 0 points for everything!

So I've been on pip for a few years now I was in enhanced motability and personal.

I had a support worker at the time but no more.

I was forced to do a renewal which I did myself then did the telephone assesment with capita.

I got the letter back saying they've ended my pip and can't give me it no more and scored me 0 for everything! I asked for the assessor report which I've gotten back and I really don't understand it!

I don't really have anyone to help me with advice with this and i was told to do a mandatory reconsideration but I don't know if there is even any point!! The only thing that has changed for me since is now I can drive/travel which is quite limited as it is.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I'm happy to share the assesment report as embarrassing as it is I just don't know what else to do!

Hi,

If you can drive yourself and/or use public transport without another person then it is correct that you're no longer entitled to the Enhanced Rate of Mobility - unless you also scored some points for walking distance as well.

However, it seems very unlikely that you no longer score any points for the Daily Living part. For that reason, I would recommend doing a Mandatory Reconsideration.

Can you remember which questions you scored points for last time?

I'm sorry to hear this @regardedapple23. It can be quite common to be awarded 0 points at this stage. As OverlyAnxious has said, the best thing to do is a Mandatory Reconsideration. I'm sure a lot of members here have experienced this, including me, and have successfully appealed.
