I am new to the forum and have been diagnosed with oesphageal disability with not lots of help from consultant. My issue is I struggle with excess Thick saliva that's worse when I drink....it really affects my mental health....anyone the same symptoms and what helps? Thanks in advance, Carol K. Ps I'm 55 years old.

Hi @caroljkelso welcome to the Community. I am so sorry you are suffering in this way. I have attached a link that you might find of interest.
If you go to the Eating, drinking and swallowing section and then click on Managing Saliva leaflet there is some information that might help you.
It is not something I suffer from myself so I am not able to offer any personal experience.
