Ongoing Pip award clarification
Not sure if anyone else is in similar situation. Our son’s ongoing award is due to reviewed at some point from May 2027. I am aware of the recent press regarding the Timms review and Autism being a condition that has been mentioned on several occasions of being reduced or possibly not eligible under pip in the future. This has obviously made us nervous as his award is due to be reviewed at some point in the near future. I don’t understand how you can possibly go from a 10 year award to possibly not being eligible at all if Timms had his way. Is he at a disadvantage because of the timing of when his review will be due. Obviously I have seen all the posts of people getting extensions but from my understanding ongoing/indefinite are not one of those. Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation.
