Cmht and discharge.

My cmht are discharging me even though I am clinically underweight with anorexia when overwhelmed with flash backs from trauma of ptsd I have moments of despair and suicidal thoughts and self harm . Not for attention but to number the pain which is powerful.

I am 5'7' and weigh 7 stone . They are saying my needs are to high which are impairments and triggers phone men and Internet cameras as were all used in abuse. The problem is my agrophobia, anorexia, self harm and suicidal thoughts are all part of my ptsd and coping mechanism as the flash backs are powerful. The Ambulance has been out 3 times . They just keep telling me to adhere to my meds which are aiding my anorexia and often being sick oer taking on an.empty stomach.

A care assessment was done in March. The social worker wss supposed to visit second time. But was reallocated as lambeth has no female social worker atm it was completed with wrong dates time lines finance info and medical info which is relavent and evidence , which supposed to be passed on 2nd visit isnt reviewed. So inaccurate info which has effected my outcome and a pa for 2 hrs pw given. Which isnt enough to sit in appointments . I need help with commum8cation due to anxiety and nature of my trauma. I have said I am willing to pay out of my benefits as im in receipt of pip.

They say they can't help but this serious as my mental health effect my functioning. The flash backs are main reason. They just think if they give you meds it's all done there end.

I have made progress when had one to one support which every time had to fight.for then.retracted after 6 months when needs to be continuous. I have no family or friends and isolated. I've asked for advocate but my care coordinator refuses to get me one .

They dont seem to acknowledge the mental health act or any other rights .

Anyone having simular problems.

Hi @charlie79, sorry to hear this has happened to you, that all sounds so difficult to navigate. I don't have direct experience of this myself, but I hope some of our members might be able to share some experiences soon.

You could look into making a complaint about what's happened if that's something you feel you could manage.

What reasons did your care coordinator give for refusing you advocacy services? I only ask as it sounds like advocacy might be helpful to you and that would have been one of my suggestions had you not already tried! It's so frustrating when the services you're relying on for support aren't working for you.

Would any private therapies be accessible to you? It can be expensive to fund, but sometimes the care can be a lot more consistent than the NHS if it's an option. I'd understand if not though, it's definitely not easy to find the money for that kind of thing when you're already struggling.

Hope you're managing to cope okay at the moment.

Due to being house bound and unable to use camera phone or digital links . I can't access without side by side support . This is only safe place I manage to go on . As all above are triggers used in abuse and triggers to ptsd.
