Recived PIP letter and confused
Hello all
I wonder if someone could help me please.
My partner has recived my Pip letter today ( he is my appointee and acting on my behalf). It says We understand that you may still need Pip if your circumstances are the same or are worse. We want to help continue to claim if you you need to.
If you still need help with your daily living or mobility you will need to claim PIP again. Do this now before wards ends.
Im confused because in 2022 my Pip was up for renewal and they just automatically sent out the forms, we filled them in and sent them back and I got awarded until 2027.
This time no forms and just this letter. Why haven't they sent the renewal forms out like before?. Why are they telling me to claim PIP again?
Now im worried what dose this mean?. They should have all my previous details on file, so surely I should just need to add new problems.
Has anyone else have this problem? Why do i need to claim PIP again? Do they just send forms out and dose you need to have a f2f assessment again?
I have been getting Pip for alot longer than 2022 and this is the first time they haven't just sent the renewal forms out, to fill in and send back. So very anxious and confused as to why they now want us to call and claim again. Its not going to make a new claim is it and have much longer forms? Surly it should just be shorter version of the forms
Any advice would help and be much appreciated

Thank you for your reply
Ill have a look.
My partner is currently ringing them. I just go into panic mode every time a letter comes through from Pip, only because it was so stressful the first time applying years ago.
Thank you once again

My partner phoned and they was unsure by the letter we was received.
Apparently a new one has been sent out after this letter saying they have extended the award.
My partner was a bit mythed so we got put through to a manger and she explained its been extended and will expected a letter throught the post shortly.
I hope this information helps someone else
